When it comes to babies and maternity leave, this isn’t Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s first rodeo. She had already welcomed four sons into the world. They are Rise, 6, Lenix, 4, Brando, 2, and Valor, 18 months. Now, at 37 years old, she is welcoming baby number five.
The news of her pregnancy comes as a shock to many because she had previously noted that they were done after the birth of Valor. Fans started looking for clues that would identify the baby’s gender and they found one. On a recent Instagram post, Jacqueline said, “A new season. A fresh start. Grace in full bloom.” Many fans took it as a hint that she is having a girl and is naming her Grace.
During her pregnancy, she gushed about nourishing her pregnancy. She’s focusing on a high-protein diet and still working out. Plus, she’s doing her best to keep the chaos at home to a minimum.
At the time when she announced her pregnancy, she said, “Our family is beyond excited, and my kids are over the moon. It’s such a special time in our home — so much love, energy and anticipation!”
