General Hospital fans can agree that Drew Quartermaine is not anything like he used to be. In fact, he’s reminding many of a once dangerous villain who used to lurk around Port Charles. It would be quite easy in soap opera land to have someone disguised as Drew. After all, didn’t Bold and the Beautiful do this to Sheila Carter’s doppelganger Sugar? So, who is this villain who may not be dead after all?
General Hospital Drew May Not Be Who He Claims To Be
As Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) continues to act extremely out of character, fans are beginning to wonder if there is about to be an epic twist. There are many clues that make this theory solid. One clue is how obsessed Drew is with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
Everyone knows that Willow was in the cult Dawn of Day. Cult leader Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) was equally obsessed with Willow, possibly even more so. In fact, he forced himself on her which led to her being pregnant. She didn’t want him to know about the baby so she tried to lie saying she miscarried. However, he never believed her. Willow had a baby boy and gave him up for adoption to keep him safe.
Remember too that Shiloh and Drew were in Afghanistan together. They have a past. There was also the whole memory mapping situation in which Drew’s memories were all on a hard drive with Shiloh determined to find out what Drew knew.
So, having Shiloh fake his own death and return for revenge years later looking like Drew is not out of the question. In fact, it would explain a lot.
Was He Also Controlling Cyrus Renault?
Every villain needs a little help from time to time. If Drew did turn out to be Shiloh, his return to Port Charles could be all for revenge. Getting Cyrus Renault involved in his plan would be perfect. Nobody would suspect him.
He could have been the one to plant the bomb at Sonny’s penthouse which ultimately hurt Michael. Of course, Shiloh did not like Michael with Willow anyway. Plus, who can forget that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was the one who shot Shiloh with the flare gun supposedly ending his reign of terror?
So, Cyrus taking out Sam was just one more level of revenge for Shiloh aka Drew.

If Drew really did turn out to be Shiloh in disguise so many questions would be answered. Some believe the switch could have happened in prison and Cyrus may have even helped with the process. If so what happened to the real Drew?
