General Hospital fans were introduced to a new character last week. This mysterious man appeared on Thursday and while he seems charming, he no doubt has some dark secrets. Even worse, is one of those secrets that he is Jenz Sidwell’s son?
General Hospital Meets New Character, Is His Father Villain Sidwell?
General Hospital fans met Marco (Adrian Anchondo) on Thursday’s episode. Fans will get to know him soon enough and of course, nobody just arrives in Port Charles without some kind of dark secret. Marco’s parents may prove to be one of them.
Eva LaRue who plays Natalia Ramirez hopped on Instagram and shared a photo and caption that raises tons of questions for fans. Her photo included Jacqueline Grace Lopez who portrayed Alison “Blaze” Rogers on the soap. It also featured Anchondo. The caption really grabbed everyone’s attention.
LaRue said, “Mi #GeneralHospital Familia 😃 #mykids @generalhospitalabc.” Lopez even commented on the post and said, “MAMA! 😍 Omg this fills my heart w so much love. 💕 Love you forever! 🥰 And welcome to GH @javichondo ! Te vas a brillar! ✨”
Fans instantly commented they hope Blaze is making a comeback. Of course, if they are both tagged as her family then it’s easy to assume that Marco is Natalia’s son. Now, the real mystery comes into play. There is speculation that Marco is really Eloi Ramirez.
Along with that comes the big question as to who his father is. Residents of Port Charles do not know that Natalia was married to Jenz Sidwell. No doubt that will surface sometime soon. Since they were married that makes it a strong possibility that Marco could be Sidwell’s son.
Based on past conversations, Blaze and Eloi do not have the best relationship with their mother so it’s yet to be seen what will happen when Natalia sees Marco in town.
What Else Is In Store For Marco?
Fans already saw on Thursday’s episode of General Hospital that it seems Marco will be having a romantic relationship with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis). The two were already hot and heavy and spent the night together.
Anchondo gave an interview recently to TV Insider in which he teased more details about his character on the soap. He said, “The character has been very sweet and charming, and, of course, it wouldn’t be a soap opera without dark secrets somewhere. He’s also very intelligent and very articulate, which is kind of opposite of who I am as a person. I don’t find myself to be the most articulate person [laughs]. I don’t think I’ve ever played a lawyer.”
Now the big question remains, what is he doing in Port Charles? Will he end up being Sidwell’s long-lost son? Will he be on the side of good or evil? There are so many questions surrounding Marco that will be answered in due time. No doubt drama and secrets await fans.
